Soooo - last week the Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate students studied crime.  Here are some phrases you might have looked at!  If you didn't study them, then look at the comments below - some students did and they will give an explanation.  If you did study them, then this is good revision!

Have you ever been a victim?  Has anything you own been stolen?  Are there any safety tips to give new students to Manchester??

By the way....the students will be thinking of their opinion of the death penalty in the next blog - so make sure you have an opinion on that the next time you look!

A long time ago, I met up with my best friend in one pub which is near Oxford Road. While I was waiting for him a people gang beat me up and they owned up me where was my money. Five minutes later I could run off without my wallet. I let off them!!!

If you go to Manchester, you'll keep your bag or smart phone. Someone who has target to foreginer, because they know the them who can't speak to English and just traveler, are attacking to someone.
Also, if you're meet up burglar or thief, you must run off them, or some burglar'll beat up for you, you call to the police officers, and you'll point out a helpping for the person, because you mustn't help for whoseone, maybe they have just watched for you and couldn't help to you. So anywhere you'll take care of yourself.

I've been a crime victim in my country. Once time I was walking on a lonely street and carring my bag near the road when two men on a motorcycle passed near to me and snatched my bag and got away.
My advice for you is to be alert and be careful with your bag everywhere you walk.

My first impression about Manchester when I came here was good.
Because every building is old and has history.
This is first time to come to Europe, so i was impressed by all of UK.
But , when I came here, it was rainy. and next day , next day, next day, it continued for long time.
Although it is sometimes sunny, almost day is rainy.
Before come here, I have bad feeling for example unfriendly ,about British people without reason,
But in fact, alomost people was kindness and friendly including host mother, Kaplan people.
so first impression was good.
