Makankosappo and Kamehameha
Japanese schoolgirls recreate the Makankosappo
Trends are temporary and passing very quickly. Today I want to talk you about one of them. Introduction: Dragon Ball It was published serially in a Japanese weekly magazine from 1984. Its series ended in 1995 but it still has a lot of fans around the world. This comic was inspired by a Chinese novel Journey to the West, which is the adventure story of a female priest going to India with a monkey, a pig, and a kappa which is a fictional creature. Goku, the main character in Dragon Ball, comes from the monkey of Journey to the West. Hollywood filmed this comic in 2009, titled Dragon Ball Evolution. It is a film which cinematizes the battle between Goku and Piccolo, Piccolo is one of the famous characters in Dragon Ball. A new trend: These days a new Internet meme related to this comic appeared and has spread around the world, especially in France and Germany. The name of this meme is Mkankosappo, which comes from the special attack of Piccolo, and is a penetrating ray to beat the others. This trend is used to take pictures making it appear as if the person in the centre of the picture was blowing the others up with Makankosappo. This trend first started when a Japanese high school girl had put a picture on Twitter, and many Twitter users and other SNS users, who saw the picture, did the same thing. Recently another style of taking pictures has appeared. It is almost same as Makankosappo but the person in the centre is doing Kamehameha, one of special attacks of Goku. There are a lot of high-spec digital cameras or camera apps, so you can take these pictures easily. Why don’t you try to take pictures in the same way, Or try new ways? You might create a new trend! You can see a lot of examples on this link.
